A vibrant start to the theatre season

The start of the new theatre season was filled with vibrant creative events for the troupe of the Dashoguz velayat State musical and drama theatre named after Nurmuhammet Andalyp. In the second half of this month, some of its actors went on a tour of the Lebap and Mary velayats. In particular, the melodrama «Saňa ýetermi owazym?» based on the work of the same name by the people's writer of Turkmenistan Dovletgeldi Annamyradov, staged by the chief director of the Dashoguz theatre, Guvanch Baymedov, was performed with great success on the stage of the Lebap velayat state musical and drama theatre named after Seyitnazar Seydi.
This work, unusual in terms of production, is filled with various interesting stage techniques, symbolism, and includes musical and choreographic numbers. Unlike other productions, the play involves only two actors. But, thanks to the multifaceted plot, where reality is intertwined with the past, and the monologues touch with their sincerity, it is much more complex and richer than the usual «duo-performance».
The story of love carried through the years in this melodrama is revealed through letters. It is through letters in old envelopes that the spiritual world of the characters and their personalities are vividly revealed. It should be noted that the theatrical performance has a happy ending, and the main role in this is played by the ability of the heroes to fight for their love and forgive mistakes of each other. The leading roles in the lyrical drama were played by talented theater actors Ogulgerek Shyhyyeva and Begli Dovlyyev.
The drama, which aroused great interest, was then shown to audiences in Mary.
The theatre group in the Dashoguz velayat is no less active these days. At the beginning of the season, the theatre already hosted a performance of the play «Synag», based on the play of the same name by playwright O. Ovezov. The youngest residents of Dashoguz were able to enjoy a performance - a fairy tale from the theater based on another of his works, based on traditional Turkmen folk tales, called «Tilki dostlugy».
Very soon, the theatre company will continue its work with the production of the melodrama «Saňa ýetermi owazym»? on its home stage.
