Apple’s probably done announcing new hardware, but November is still pretty jammed
Macworld ·
Macworld Apple should finally be done announcing new hardware for 2026, but there’s still plenty to be released this month. We’ve got the new MacBook Pro with PROLED, M6 iMac, M6 MacBook Pro, HomeView, and Apple TV 4K that were all announced in October. There’s some exciting software, too. We expect the OS 27.3 updates to bring more new features, including Audio Intelligence to the Apple Watch series 12 and Ultra 4, as well and the new Health app and perhaps a few other new capabilities. And naturally, we’ll get new Apple TV+ shows and Apple Arcade games, as we do every month. Here’s what we can expect from Apple in November 2026. New hardware Apple isn’t expected to announce any new hardware in November, but a lot of the products announced in October don’t actually ship until this month. Here’s what we have on the way. MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display: The new tandem-OLED MacBook Pro with touch support and the Dynamic Island is shipping on November 6. M6 iMac: Apple finally updated the iMac with a new processor, though nothing else has changed. It ships on November 6 as well. iPad mini with OLED: The new iPad mini gets a big upgrade, with an OLED display and an A20 Pro processor. It arrives on November 6, too. HomeView: Announced last month, the HomeView is the first truly new-category product from Apple in a long time. It doesn’t ship until November 13, so there haven’t even been any reviews yet. Apple TV 4K (4th gen): The new Apple TV 4K box has a faster processor for Siri AI, built-in microphones, and a remote that has a speaker for Find My. It arrives on November 13. Apps and software updates We all get excited about new hardware, but new software updates impact over a billion users and, sometimes, all the cool new stuff is just software that comes to your existing devices. Apple released the OS 27.2 updates at the end of October, which brought several new features. OS 27.3: Apple’s big OS 27 software updates aren’t done yet—there are still a few significant features to come. Among them are a new redesigned Health app, further enhancements to Siri AI, support for Siri AI on HomePod mini and existing Apple TV 4K boxes. We expect the OS 27.3 beta to begin in the first week of November, with the final release likely arriving in late November or early December. Services Apple TV+ Here are the shows, series, and movies we expect to release on Apple TV+ in November 2026. Join the star on an inspiring culinary road trip as she learns the craft and attempts to revive her family’s beloved Chinese eatery. November 6 12 12 12: Each episode of 12 12 12 unfolds across three timelines of a heist: the 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist, and the 12 days following. November 13 (Get it?) Being Heumann: In 1977, young disabled Judy Heumann and a scrappy coalition of outsiders decide they’ve had enough. What begins as one impulsive act becomes the longest occupation of a federal building in American history, as hundreds spontaneously seize government offices and refuse to leave until the bureaucrat in their way takes action.
