Turkmenistan Announces Tender for Modernization of Turkmenabat Utility Networks

The Ministry of Construction and Architecture is accepting applications for major repairs of wells and the reconstruction of wastewater treatment facilities in the Lebap Region.
The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan has announced an open tender aimed at upgrading water supply and sanitation systems in the city of Turkmenabat. The initiative comprises two distinct lots designed to improve municipal utility infrastructure.
Lot No. 1 provides for major repairs of existing vertical wells and the construction of 50 new water intake facilities to enhance the reliability of drinking water supplies. Meanwhile, the second lot covers the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities, stations, and networks, alongside the construction of new suction and exhaust stations to optimize wastewater management. Applications are open until November 16, 2026, at the Ministry's Department of Marketing and Foreign Economic Relations in Ashgabat.
