Representatives of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan are taking part in an international training seminar being held in Changji, People’s Republic of China, from October 18 to November 1, 2026. The seminar has been organized for specialists from the migration and border services of Central Asian countries.
The training programme covers key issues related to improving the professional qualifications of migration specialists and learning from international experience. Particular attention is being paid to studying advanced international standards for integrated border management, mastering modern strategic planning methods, and developing risk assessment skills.
The training sessions also address ways to improve cooperation between agencies, modernize inspection and control activities, and introduce leading international practices in migration and border security.
The international training seminar aims to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of specialists from the migration and border services of Central Asian countries, while also promoting the exchange of international experience in this field.
