13-year-old tennis player Nazli Hudaygulyyeva will represent Turkmenistan for the first time at the prestigious GSPDP Asian 14U Junior Championships 2026, taking place from the 28 th of September to 2 nd of October, 2026, in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. Category A+ tournaments, organised by the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) and the Grand Slam Player Development Programme (GSPDP), serve as a major springboard into international tennis for Asian juniors.

Category A+ tournaments, organised by the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) and the Grand Slam Player Development Programme (GSPDP), serve as a major springboard into international tennis for Asian juniors.
The top 24 boys and 24 girls under the age of 14 in Asia earned the right to compete in the Asian Championship after receiving special invitations. Nazli Hudaygulyyeva, an 8 th -grade student at Ashgabat secondary school № 87, was among them thanks to her high international and Asian ranking. According to the latest published ATF Girls 14 & Under rankings, she holds the 11 th spot in Asia. A successful performance at the tournament paves the way for selection to the GSPDP/WT Touring Teams − international squads funded by the Grand Slam committee to travel to competitions in Europe, the USA, and other regions.
The results in Thailand will determine the participants for major global events: semi-finalists will qualify for the 2026 Junior Orange Bowl in Miami (USA), while the winners will join the GSPDP team to compete in Florida (USA) this year and play in the Elite 14&U Asia-Pacific Trophy in Australia in January 2027.
Since 2023, Nazli Hudaygulyyeva has been actively competing on the international stage and regularly winning prizes. Previously, as a member of the U12 national team of Turkmenistan girls, she was a finalist at the Asian Team Championship; furthermore, at the West and Central Asia Championship (U14) in Manama (Bahrain), she won four gold medals, becoming the overall champion of the two-week event and securing a spot in the Asian championship final. The promising tennis player is honing her skills under the guidance of coaches Meylis Orazmuhammedov and Yuri Rogusskiy. Meylis Orazmuhammedov is accompanying Nazli at the GSPDP Asian 14U Junior Championships 2026 in Thailand.
