In November, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management will hold two international events related to finance and the sustainable development of the economy. These include the 3rd Open International Olympiad in Finance and the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Sustainable Economic Development: International Experience and Promising Areas for Development.”
The 3rd Open International Olympiad in Finance will take place online on November 13. Students studying at higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad will be eligible to participate. The Olympiad will be organized as an individual competition, with no more than four students permitted to represent each higher education institution. Winners will be determined according to the points they score during the competition.
Higher education institutions wishing to participate in the Olympiad must submit information about their participants, in accordance with the prescribed format, to the organizing committee’s email addresses — tsiem.olymp@gmail.com and tsiem.muhanow@gmail.com — by November 10.
Furthermore, the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Sustainable Economic Development: International Experience and Promising Areas for Development” will be held in a hybrid format on November 27. Professors and teaching staff from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad, as well as specialists working in relevant fields, are invited to participate in the conference.
The scientific and practical conference will be organized into three sections. The first section will examine promising areas for sustainable economic development; the second will focus on the role of financial mechanisms in ensuring sustainable economic development; and the third will address the importance of marketing and management in sustainable development.
Those wishing to participate in the conference must submit abstracts of their scientific papers, annotations, and presentations to tsiem.conference@gmail.com by November 12.

The international events to be held will create broad opportunities for exchanging knowledge and experience in economics and finance, developing scientific cooperation, and strengthening relations between higher education institutions and research centers.
