Janet Jackson Loves Keke Palmer’s Halloween Tribute With 3-Year-Old Son as Mini Michael: ‘HOW CUTE!’

Keke Palmer has debuted her Halloween costume for 2026, enlisting three-year-old son Leo for a Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson tribute that the latter icon is all for.
The Nope actress shared videos on Thursday (Oct. 29) of herself and Leo dressed up as the Jackson siblings in their iconic black-and-white “Scream” music video . The clips show Palmer giving it all while recreating Michael and Janet’s intense choreography, meanwhile Leo — matching his mom in a textured black shirt and leathery pants while sporting the King of Pop’s long, tight curls — mimics the Jacksons’ scream scenes in between playing on his iPad.
“Happy Halloween from me && my mini me!!” Palmer wrote on Instagram. “That iPad is a life saver omg. I haven’t stopped laughing.”
Ms. Jackson gave her seal of approval soon afterward, resharing a few of the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer host’s posts on Stories and gushing, “I LOVE THIS !!! HOW CUTE !”
The singer-actress’ family costume comes as many celebs are unveiling their spooky-season looks for 2026. Another celeb who channeled Janet for Halloween ’26 was Umi, who dressed down in jeans and little else to recreate the icon’s 1993 Rolling Stone cover.
Janet has been getting a lot of recognition in recent weeks, with Britney Spears also honoring her on Instagram this October. “The feeling she gives with her voice when she sings is so pure and genuine,” the Princess of Pop wrote earlier in the month. “She’s not trying to be sexy … She just is … She can’t help it … She has always been god to me.”
Released in 1995, “Scream” reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 .
