Today’s deal gets there and then some: Amazon is selling the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro for $1,349, an impressive savings of $650 and the best price we’ve ever seen—before or after the price hike. With the launch of the M6 this week, this is now the previous-generation MacBook Pro, but there’s not much more you’re getting by paying $650 more for a new model. The M5 chip is still incredibly fast with 16GB of RAM and a super-fast 1TB drive that has 2x faster read/write performance compared to the M4 model. Of course, it also comes with a brilliant Liquid Retina XDR display with ProMotion, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, an SDXC card slot, and Wi-Fi 7. If you want to use It as a desktop replacement, you can also hook up a pair of high-resolution external displays. And with 24-hour battery life, you’ll be able to take it anywhere without a worry. In our 4.5-star review, we said the MacBook Pro offers “a tremendous combination of price, performance, and features,” and that was at its full price of $1,599. Now that it’s $250 less than that, it’s a no-brainer purchase. So go grab a MacBook Pro for just $1,350 and save $650 before it’s gone forever.
