The American Red Cross will launch the Military 2 Veteran Network on Nov. 1, 2026, bringing service members and Veterans together through an online community offering peer support, meaningful connections and opportunities to improve their well-being.

Military service creates bonds that last a lifetime. Transitioning to civilian life, navigating personal challenges or finding others who understand the military experience can feel isolating. The Military 2 Veteran Network provides a welcoming space where service members and Veterans can connect, share experiences and support one another, regardless of their era of service or location.

Rooted in the belief that no service member or Veteran should feel alone, the Military 2 Veteran Network aims to reduce isolation and strengthen connection, hope and well-being.

Through a secure online community, members can build relationships with others who understand the experiences, challenges and strengths associated with military life.

The network offers several ways to participate:

These opportunities help members strengthen relationships, discover resources and find renewed purpose through connection and shared experiences.

The Military 2 Veteran Network embraces Red Cross’s whole health approach, recognizing that well-being extends beyond physical health to include emotional health, social connections and personal fulfillment.

Members can participate in activities that encourage self-reflection, resilience and goal setting, including developing a personal MAP—mission, aspiration and purpose.

Whether someone is preparing to leave military service, has recently transitioned to civilian life or has been a Veteran for decades, the network offers opportunities to connect and grow.

Membership begins with verification through ID.me to help maintain a trusted community for service members and Veterans.

Service takes many forms throughout a lifetime, but the strength of the military community endures.

This November, the American Red Cross invites service members and Veterans to discover a community built on understanding, encouragement and mutual support.

United in service. United in support.
