Turkmen teachers to study for a master's degree at University of Tsukuba in Japan

Wepa Abdysetdarov and Mergen Nunnakov, lecturers at Oguzhan University of Engineering Technologies, have been sent to Japan to pursue master’s studies at the University of Tsukuba. From September 2026 to March 2029, they will study hydrogen energy and sustainable development.
Vepa Abdysetdarow and Mergen Nunnakov, teachers at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, have been sent to study for a master's degree at the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
During the study period, which will last from September 12, 2026, to March 31, 2029, the Turkmen teachers will study in the fields of hydrogen energy and sustainable development.
The training is implemented within the framework of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) development studies program — JICA Development Studies Program "SDGs Global Leader". This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" publication.
During their master's studies, the Turkmen teachers will conduct research work aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, they will have the opportunity to study Japan's advanced experience in hydrogen energy and sustainable development.
This training will help develop the professional knowledge and research skills of Turkmen specialists in relevant fields, as well as study international experience.
