The T plans to increase Red Line speeds between JFK and North Quincy

The transit agency will increase speeds from North Quincy to JFK to 50 miles an hour, MBTA General Manager and Interim Transportation Secretary Phil Eng said Thursday as he also touted higher top speeds on the Orange Line.
