Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin’ Texas’ Extends Hot 100 Record With 24th Week at No. 1

Ella Langley ’s “Choosin’ Texas” adds a record-extending 24th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 . A week earlier, the song solely claimed the mark.
Here’s an updated look at the longest-leading hits, ranked by most weeks spent at No. 1 on the Hot 100, since the chart began in August 1958:
“Choosin’ Texas” initially ruled the Hot 100 in February, on its way to setting multiple chart records . Among its newest honors, it breaks the record for the most weeks, 19, logged at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart.
“Thank you so much for loving this song,” Langley marveled on Instagram after the song broke the record for the most weeks atop the Hot 100. “I’m running out of hyperboles to describe how I feel.”
Elsewhere in the latest Hot 100 top 10, Karol G earns a new personal-best high as “BbY WOW,” with Judeline and rusowsky, rises to No. 6, and Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need,” from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album , debuts at No. 9.
