ICE Chicago removed Amos Sheik Massaquoi, 55, to Liberia on Aug. 11, 2026. Massaquoi was a former Liberian combatant who is believed to have ordered and participated in extrajudicial killings, acts of torture, arbitrary arrests and detentions, forced labor and the recruitment of child soldiers during the Liberian civil wars from 1989 to 2003.
