Number_i’s ‘REBON’ and ‘DIGITAL GIRL’ Sweep the Top Two Spots on Japan Hot 100

EBiDAN's "Yes! Tokyo" falls to No. 3.
Number_i’s “REBON” hits No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, on the chart released Sept. 30.
The track is one of three A-sides on the trio’s fourth single “REBON / BUGS LIFE / DIGITAL GIRL,” their first release on Atlantic Records. The track launched with 304,863 copies to top sales while also hitting No. 1 for downloads (32,268 units).
The song marks Number_i’s seventh chart-topper on the Japan Hot 100, following “BUGS LIFE.” The same single’s “DIGITAL GIRL” debuts at No. 2, ruling radio airplay and hitting No. 2 for downloads, giving Number_i a sweep of the top two positions. Meanwhile, “BUGS LIFE” moves 41-25, meaning all three tracks from the new single appear on the chart simultaneously.
EBiDAN’s “Yes! Tokyo” falls to No. 3, but tops streaming and moves 28,893 CDs this week. M!LK’s “Sukisugite Metsu!” rises 6-4 and “Jiku Koete Universe” follows at No. 5, continuing to lead video views.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Brand New” sits at No. 6 and YAO’s “Arifureta Sekai no Hate ni” at No. 7. Macaroni Enpitsu’s “Unmei Sagashi” climbs 13-8, with radio at No. 3 reflecting its broadening support. SixTONES’ “My Only” follows at No. 9 and M!LK’s “Bakuretsu Aishiteru” at No. 10 — the latter placing three songs simultaneously in the top 10.
GRIPHAGE’s “SUPERNOVA” debuts at No. 12, selling 35,061 copies to hit No. 2 for sales. Kenshi Yonezu’s “IRIS OUT” rises 26-22 for its 54th week on the tally. RADWIMPS’ “Sparkle” climbs 34-23. GLAY’s “Yogoreta Eiyu” debuts at No. 26 — a new entry for the group in their 32nd year since their major-label debut in 1994. Koshi Inaba’s “RIZAN” debuts at No. 30, landing at No. 3 for downloads.
