Ray J Rushed to Hospital During Livestream

The singer, actor and media personality has stated that he's been having issues with his heart.
Ray J had a medical scare and was rushed to the hospital during a livestream on Thursday (Oct. 1). TMZ was the first to report the news.
The 45-year-old was streaming from Fab Factory via the Zeus Network on his Kick account when he suddenly suffered a medical emergency and had the fire department and an ambulance rush to his aid. His mother, Sonja Norwood, was there with him. In the video, you can see Ray J shirtless with equipment attached to his chest as medical professionals attend to him while he lays on a couch. He was able to walk to the stretcher on his own, though, which could be taken as a good sign.
This isn’t the first time he’s had a health scare. Earlier this year , Ray J took to Instagram to tell fans that he was recently hospitalized due to heart issues
“I wanna thank everybody for praying for me,” he said. “I was in the hospital. My heart’s only beating like 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right, so thank you for all your prayers.”
He was also hospitalized in Las Vegas on Jan. 7 due to severe pneumonia and heart pain, which was also reported by TMZ , and had to go again in May after his celebrity fight with Supa Hot Fire when his heart rate slowed.
According to Ray J , years of excessive drinking and drug use have cause issues with his heart. “I f—ed up,” he said during a live video. “… I thought I was a big n—a, so I’m like, ‘I can handle all the alcohol, I can handle all the Adderall.’ I could handle all the drugs I could handle everything, but I couldn’t. My sh– is f—ed up.”
