Vinícius Will Miss Real Madrid’s Match Against Barcelona

Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior will miss the next four matches after his suspension was upheld. The disciplinary committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation rejected the club’s appeal to overturn or reduce the ban.

Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior will be unable to help his team in the next four matches, including the clash with Barcelona. The Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has rejected the Madrid club’s request to overturn the player’s four-match suspension.

Vinícius was sent off during Real Madrid’s eighth-round La Liga match against Villarreal, which ended in a 1–0 victory for Madrid. He received a two-match suspension for grabbing an opposing player by the hair. A further two-match ban was imposed for arguing with the referee and expressing disagreement with the referee’s decisions.

Real Madrid appealed, requesting that the punishment be overturned or reduced. However, the Appeals Committee also rejected the request. As a result, the player’s four-match suspension remains in force.

Under the ruling, Vinícius will miss matches against Sevilla, Barcelona, Racing and Valencia.

The highly anticipated match between Real Madrid and Barcelona is scheduled for the night leading into October 26. According to Ashgabat time, kick-off is set for 01:00.
