Students from universities in Turkmenistan are taking part in the final of the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security, which is being held from September 27 to October 2 at Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.

The final stage of the international competition has brought together around 700 talented schoolchildren and students from more than 40 countries around the world.
The main theme of the Olympiad is the use of artificial intelligence in the financial security system and the risks associated with it.
As part of the Olympiad, Turkmen students, together with their peers, are actively demonstrating extensive knowledge in the fields of financial cybersecurity, financial control, combating the legalization of proceeds of crime and the financing of terrorism, international law, and international relations.
The programme for the final week includes more than 100 events, including panel discussions, master classes, meetings with renowned experts, and many other activities.
The annual International Olympiad on Financial Security has been held since 2021 at the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation. The prestigious large-scale competition attracts an increasing number of participants each year, contributing to the discovery of new talents and fostering young people’s interest in pressing issues of financial literacy and security in the world.
The participation of Turkmen students in the Olympiad creates broad opportunities to study international experience, enrich their knowledge, improve their skills, strengthen friendly ties with peers from different countries, and promote the peaceful policy of neutral Turkmenistan and the achievements of our country on the international stage.
