A business meeting was held in Ashgabat between representatives of the “Hazar Logistik” economic society and representatives of the United States to discuss future areas of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.
The meeting took place at the company’s office in Ashgabat and was attended by representatives of the United States, Aaron Hugh Lewis-Forsyth and James Rabe.
During the meeting, specialists from the “Hazar Logistik” economic society provided information about the company’s activities, its participation in international logistics infrastructure, as well as the opportunities it offers in road, rail, maritime, air and multimodal freight transportation.
The parties discussed the advantages of Turkmenistan’s geographically favorable location and the conditions created by the country’s transport and logistics potential for establishing new and efficient transport chains between Asia and Europe.
Particular attention was also paid to the development of transport corridors across the Caspian Sea and to expanding the potential of international routes connecting Asian countries with the markets of Türkiye, the Middle East and Europe through Central Asia, Turkmenistan, the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on creating new logistics routes, introducing modern technologies into the transport system, expanding international trade relations, and implementing promising investment projects in the transport and logistics sector.
The meeting served as an important platform for exchanging views on the development of international transport corridors, expanding logistics service capabilities and identifying new areas for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
