Billboard and Walmart joins Zhamira and her parents in Miami for a dinner rooted in Latin flavors, family traditions and the joy of staying a little longer. Over dishes made with products available at Walmart, they share memories and stories that bring generations together—because the best conversations don’t end when the meal does.
Zhamira also reflects on family unity, the traditions we carry into every space, and the joy of turning any gathering into a celebration — eating, dancing, singing, and connecting on a deeper level.

You can tell when a Latino enters the room because they shine differently, because they speak differently. Hello, hello, family. Come enjoy a meal with us. Thanks to Walmart and Billboard.
I feel that we Latinos are capable of adapting to everything, that wherever you put us we can flourish, we can grow independently right?, of the place, the conditions. We’re always like very hardworking people, who push forward wherever we are. Being Latino has given us like a superpower. I think right now we Latinos are having an incredibly spectacular moment, very visible worldwide. So, I feel that we are like, suddenly,my generation of Latinos like we grabbed everything that our past taught us and we’re super empowered to want to grow and to want to show that there’s also a space for us, you know? That our voice is just as valuable as, as the voice of everyone else. So, I feel that we’re in that, in that right now standing.

The advantage of your generation is that you aren’t ashamed to say things and do them. You, this generation of yours like isn’t afraid of what people will say.

That we Latinos are super party people. We–we love to extend everything wherever we are eating, dancing, singing. Our chip comes like that, that wherever we are we’re going to extend it and we’re going to turn it into a party.
