RAYE Shares the Best Clapback After Hater Calls Her a ‘One Hit Wonder’: ‘Just Saying’

The singer would argue she's at least a three-hit wonder — and counting!
RAYE is far from a one-hit wonder, and she has the hardware to prove it.
In a hilarious TikTok, the British pop star replied to a hater’s comment — which simply read, “one hit wonder” — by sharing a video of herself counting up her three Spotify billions plaques, which show that her songs “Prada” with Cassö and D-Block Europe, “Escapism” with 070 Shake and “Where Is My Husband!” have all surpassed 10 digits on the streaming platform.

Not that RAYE needed any further proof, but “Escapism” and “Where Is My Husband!” have both charted on the Billboard Hot 100 , reaching Nos. 22 and 11, respectively. She also has a third entry on the chart, with “Born Again” — recorded with BLACKPINK’s LISA and Doja Cat — reaching No. 68 in February 2025.
“3 hit thunder,” one fan commented on the video in suggestion of a more fitting nickname, while another person wrote, “i would be crying if THE RAYE clocked my a– like this.”
The musician recently performed at the 2026 VMAs, singing a medley of “I Will Overcome” and “Husband!,” both of which appear on her acclaimed 2026 album, This Music May Contain Hope . The project reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the U.K. charts.
While at the award show, RAYE also took part in a George Michael tribute performance as well as cleared up rumors about whether she’s dating Michael B. Jordan, which sparked after the pair stepped out at Six Flags together. “No, we’re just friends who like roller coasters,” she said with a laugh.
