In a short video earlier this week, Aerosmith singer Tyler, 78, teased his band’s first shows since they were forced to call off their planned final tour, Peace Out … Farewell Tour, in September 2023 after Tyler was diagnosed with a fractured larynx just three dates into what was billed as their last road trip. The tour was initially postponed , then canceled, with the veteran band announcing their retirement from touring after more than 55 years of road work.
The official photo for the outing (see above) also suggest that the band’s full classic lineup will be on hand for the shows, including founding drummer Joey Kramer, who hasn’t played with the group in six years , since stepping away in 2020 due to health issues. The announcement also noted that lineups will vary by night and additional “legendary” artists, special guests and surprise appearances will be revealed later.
