Representatives of relevant state agencies of Turkmenistan are participating in the Central Asian Digital Governance Training Programme in Tashkent, held within the framework of "ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026".
The "Digital Governance Training Programme" brings together specialists from relevant state institutions of five Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The program is implemented within the framework of the "Digital Connectivity in Central Asia (C4CA)" project, which is part of the "Team Europe" initiative funded by the European Commission. The implementation of the training program is led by the Finnish Institute of Public Management "HAUS".
The training covers the period from mid-2026 to early 2027. In addition to remote learning modules, the program includes three face-to-face meetings for the participants.
One of the main areas of the "C4CA" project is to assist in improving the regulatory framework necessary for safe, affordable, and sustainable digital development in Central Asian countries, developing digital infrastructure capabilities, and enhancing the skills of specialists.
The training program provides specialists from state agencies working in relevant fields of digital transformation with the opportunity to exchange experience with experts from Finland and other European countries. Conditions are also created for the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience among the participating countries.
The delegation of Turkmenistan is participating in the training program alongside specialists from the other four Central Asian states. Thus, the program encompasses specialists representing all five states of the region.
Upon completion of the program, participants are expected to have the opportunity to continue cooperation within the established regional professional network, exchange experience in digital governance, and develop mutual contacts.
