A Cottonseed Oil Production Plant to Be Built in Dashoguz Region

A new vegetable oil production plant will be built in the Garashsyzlyk district of Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz region. The facility will have the capacity to process 60,000 tonnes of technical cottonseed annually, according to a relevant decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
A plant capable of processing 60,000 tonnes of technical cottonseed annually will be built in Garashsyzlyk etrap of Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz region. This is stipulated in a relevant Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan.
Under the document, the State Association of Food Industry of Turkmenistan has been authorized to conclude a contract for the preparation of the project and construction of the new facility. The project also includes landscaping and improving the area surrounding the plant.
The construction of the new production facility is aimed at developing agriculture, strengthening the sector’s material and technical base, and ensuring the country’s food security. The project is also expected to help increase labor productivity in agriculture and the food industry, while introducing innovative technologies for the comprehensive and waste-free processing of raw materials.
