A company affiliated with China’s Sinopec plans to establish a representative office and a specialized equipment service center in Turkmenistan. Since 1998, it has supplied 300 sets of equipment to the country and established cooperation with Turkmenistan’s state oil and gas organizations.
One of the enterprises affiliated with China’s national oil company, Sinopec, plans to open a representative office in Turkmenistan and establish a specialised centre for servicing supplied equipment. A company representative announced this in an interview held on the sidelines of the 31st International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — OGT 2026”, taking place in Ashgabat.
The enterprise specialises in manufacturing various types of equipment used in the oil and gas industry, including drilling rigs and technical equipment designed for the extraction of hydrocarbon resources. The company representative provided information about the enterprise’s production capacity, noting that its annual turnover is equivalent to the cost of 100 drilling rigs.
The company’s product range also includes equipment designed for well workovers, hydraulic fracturing operations, coiled tubing applications, and well servicing without killing the well. These technologies are intended to improve the efficiency of operations carried out on oil and gas wells.
The company has been supplying its products to Turkmenistan since 1998. During this period, 300 sets of various types of equipment have been delivered to the country. The company representative emphasised that cooperation has been established with the state concerns Turkmennebit and Turkmengaz, as well as the Turkmengeology State Corporation.
Participation in the international exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — OGT 2026” provides the company with an opportunity to develop existing business relations, further strengthen cooperation, and find new partners.
The plans to open a representative office and service centre in Turkmenistan are aimed at improving access to technical maintenance services for foreign-manufactured oil and gas equipment and expanding the scope of cooperation in this field.
