Turkmenistan and Pakistan Discuss Ways to Develop Bilateral Cooperation

A meeting was held at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs between Turkmenistan’s Ambassador A. Movlamov and Hasan Ali Zaigam, Director of the Ministry’s Department for Central Asian Countries and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan between A. Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, and Hasan Ali Zaigam, Director of the Department for Central Asian Countries and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat briefed his Pakistani counterpart on the outcomes of major international forums held in early October at the Avaza National Tourist Zone. According to the ambassador, the events in Avaza demonstrated Turkmenistan’s commitment to the principles of constructive dialogue, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and promoting joint initiatives aimed at sustainable development and regional prosperity.
Hasan Ali Zaigam, a representative of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highly praised the organizational standards and substance of the international events held in Turkmenistan. He particularly emphasized Turkmenistan’s contribution to strengthening international cooperation and mutual understanding, as well as to achieving global sustainable development goals.
The meeting featured a comprehensive exchange of views on the current state of dialogue between Turkmenistan and Pakistan and the prospects for its further development. The sides discussed key issues related to expanding bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, as well as opportunities to strengthen the coordination of their efforts on the international stage.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain regular contacts at various levels in order to implement the agreements reached and further deepen the traditional friendly and brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
