Kazakhstan Transport Week is taking place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, from October 14 to 16. One of its main events is the 29th international exhibition, TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026, dedicated to the transport and logistics sector. The event has brought together representatives of the transport and logistics industry from more than 20 countries worldwide.
More than 200 companies from Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the South Caucasus are expected to participate in this year’s exhibition. Turkmenistan’s participation is important for presenting the country’s transit potential, logistics infrastructure and multimodal transport corridors to the international community.
As part of the exhibition’s three-day business programme, transport and logistics professionals are discussing the development of transport routes across Eurasia, ways to improve the efficiency of international freight transportation and the modernisation of supply chains.
One of the main areas of focus is the development of Eurasian transport corridors, including the use of opportunities offered by the Middle Corridor, which passes across the Caspian Sea. Discussions also cover the improvement of logistics solutions for industrial and energy projects, as well as the integration of information technologies, artificial intelligence and automation systems into freight transportation operations.
Initiatives to develop sustainable road transport and transit traffic within the framework of the Awaza Programme of Action also feature prominently on the forum’s agenda.
The participation of transport authorities, international companies and industry experts in TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 highlights the importance of international cooperation in building efficient, safe and modern transport infrastructure across Eurasia.
Turkmenistan’s efforts in this area are also linked to the development of international transport corridors, strengthening its position in the regional logistics system and creating new opportunities for international freight transportation.
