Economic Society “Täze aý önümleri” Expands Production

A ceremony marking the opening of a major dairy processing plant operated by the economic society “Täze aý önümleri,” a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, was held on the territory of the “Täze oba” daikhan association in the Mary etrap, the Mary velayat. The new facility is designed to process 50,000 tonnes of milk annually.

The dairy production complex, which manufactures products under the “Täze aý” brand, is a clear testament to the opportunities being created through the efforts of Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan to develop market relations in the country, supply the domestic market with locally produced goods, and increase exports by expanding the range of products manufactured by private enterprises.

The ceremonial opening of the dairy processing complex was attended by representatives of the khakimlik of the Mary velayat and public organisations, staff members of the Mary velayat branches of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, elders, representatives of the private sector, and university and college students. Performances by cultural figures and artists from the velayat, as well as children’s creative groups, added to the festive atmosphere.

The buildings and facilities of the new enterprise were constructed by the economic society “Täze aý önümleri” on a plot of land covering 3.5 hectares. Production buildings occupy two hectares, while the remaining area accommodates various other facilities, including an administrative building, warehouses, and auxiliary premises. The enterprise comprises several departments equipped with modern automated machinery, ensuring that the entire production process is efficiently organised.

The equipment installed at the new facility was supplied by leading manufacturers of dairy industry machinery from Türkiye and Germany. The enterprise is designed to produce a wide range of dairy products, including cream, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese, butter, suzme (strained yoghurt), ayran, and various types of ice cream. These products are in high demand among consumers. The presence of a laboratory equipped with advanced technology demonstrates the particular attention being paid to product quality.

The principal raw material for processing—cow’s milk—will be purchased from local residents, daikhan associations, and private enterprises under agreements concluded with suppliers. Some of the ingredients are planned to be imported from the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, Türkiye, Denmark, and Malaysia.

The project provides for the simultaneous storage of up to 380 tonnes of finished products in the warehouse before they are sold. Packaged in modern, attractive containers, the products will be stored in compliance with all applicable requirements and delivered daily to markets and retail outlets, as well as dispatched in response to orders. To ensure uninterrupted production, the facility has been equipped with a transformer substation and a reservoir with a capacity of 500 cubic metres for clean drinking water.

More than 300 jobs have been created at the new enterprise. All the necessary conditions have been provided to ensure comfortable working and rest facilities for employees. They have access to well-appointed recreation rooms, a canteen, an outdoor car park, and other amenities.

With an annual milk processing capacity of 50,000 tonnes, the enterprise is expected to produce 3,000 tonnes of milk powder, 1,050 tonnes of butter, 8,000 tonnes of fermented milk products, between 1,000 and 1,500 tonnes of cheese, and 10,000 tonnes of ice cream. Between 140 and 150 tonnes of cow’s milk will be used daily to manufacture the various dairy products.

It should be noted that there are currently 50 milk collection points operating in the country. These facilities are equipped with cooling systems and specialised equipment for testing milk quality. Once the new enterprise reaches full production capacity, it will become possible to increase severalfold the number of such collection points, the number of milk-supplying enterprises, and the volume of raw milk purchased from them. In addition, the commissioning of a major livestock complex currently under construction in the Mary etrap, with an annual capacity of 500 tonnes of milk and 100 tonnes of meat, will further improve the supply of raw materials to the enterprise.

It is also noteworthy that students from secondary vocational educational institutions and the S. A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University will be able to undertake practical training at the new, modern dairy processing plant.

During the opening ceremony, valuable gifts were presented to the construction workers who had made outstanding contributions to the building of the facility. Participants in the celebration expressed their sincere gratitude to the country’s President, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and Hero-Arkadag for their continued attention to the development of the domestic private sector and their comprehensive support for its representatives. As part of the celebrations, an exhibition of food products manufactured by enterprises belonging to the economic society “Täze aý önümleri” was also organised.
