Turkmenistan Participates in Regional Business Forum Dedicated to the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship

Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in an international online business forum held within the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. Discussions focused on supporting women entrepreneurs, expanding access to finance and entering new markets.
Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in an international online business forum entitled “Women’s Entrepreneurship in Central Asian Countries and Azerbaijan: Economic Integration, New Opportunities and Sustainable Regional Cooperation.” The event was held as part of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries and Azerbaijan, according to Uzbekistan’s UZA news agency.
The forum’s main objective was to discuss ways to develop women’s entrepreneurship across the region, expand opportunities for women in business, and strengthen economic cooperation among the participating countries.
During the event, representatives of the parliaments, chambers of commerce and industry, financial institutions, and business communities of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan exchanged experiences. Particular attention was paid to improving women entrepreneurs’ access to financial resources, entering new markets, implementing joint projects, and developing manufacturing and trade ties.
Participants also discussed opportunities for establishing long-term economic cooperation and expanding business relations among women entrepreneurs at the regional level.
Following the forum, an agreement was reached to conclude nine memorandums, two agreements, and seven contracts among women entrepreneurs. These documents are expected to be signed in December this year at an event to be held within the framework of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries and Azerbaijan.
Such business events among countries in the region provide an important platform for supporting women’s entrepreneurial initiatives, promoting economic cooperation, and creating new business opportunities.
