Delegation of Turkmenistan participated at the meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the SCO countries held in Dushanbe

On 20 October 2026, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan H.Geldimyradov participated in the expanded meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), held in Dushanbe. During the meeting, participants exchanged views on key issues of regional cooperation and considered prospects for further expanding practical cooperation in trade-economic relations, transport and logistics, energy, and other areas.
Particular attention was paid to developing mutually beneficial economic ties, strengthening transport connectivity, and implementing joint initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable development in the region.
Turkmenistan’s participation in the event reflects the country’s commitment to fostering constructive dialogue with regional states and expanding international cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and consideration of the interests of all parties.
