Omar Courtz Scores First Latin Airplay No. 1 With ‘KOKO’: ‘Crazy!’

Omar Courtz earns his first No. 1 on Billboard ’s Latin Airplay chart, as the song rises 3-1 on the ranking dated Oct. 10. The achievement comes one week after the Puerto Rican scored his first Billboard chart-topper , landing at No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay (dated Oct. 3).
“Seeing ‘KOKO’ reach No. 1 again is crazy!” Courtz tells Billboard . “And having it be my first No. 1 on Latin Airplay makes it even more special. This song has been special to me from the very beginning, so seeing how people have connected with it and how far they’ve taken it means so much to me. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has shown it love and continues to support it.”
In the week ending Oct. 1, “KOKO” generated 7.5 million audience impressions in the United States, up 15%, according to Luminate. Released by Mr. 305/Rimas, the song gives the Pitbull-founded independent label Mr. 305 its first chart-topper of 2026—and its first in more than six years. The Miami-based group last topped Latin Airplay with Pitbull’s “Me Quedaré Contigo,” featuring Ne-Yo, Lenier and El Micha, in April 2020.
Besides Latin Airplay, “KOKO” stands firm at No. 1 for a second week on Latin Rhythm Airplay and repeats at its No. 5 best on Hot Latin Rhythm Songs for a 15th week. Over on Hot Latin Songs the song adds an 18th week in the top 10, where it moves 6-4, having peaked at No. 4.
El Fantasma Banks 10th No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay: El Fantasma secures his place among the top five male soloists with double-digit No. 1s, as “El Culpable” surges 14-1 on Regional Mexican Airplay with 6.9 million impressions, up 106% during the tracking period.
With the move he ties with Edén Muñoz for the fifth-most chart-toppers, among solo men on Regional Mexican Airplay, trailing Christian Nodal whose 17 No. 1s remains the most among male singers, Gerardo Ortiz with 14, and Carín León with 12. Both Muñoz and Nodal own 10 No. 1s.

The song’s 14-1 surge marks the year’s fourth-largest jump to No. 1. Previously, Banda Carnaval’s “De Nuestro Amor No Queda Nada” and Los Tucanes de Tijuana, MAFFiO and Izaak G’s “Andamos Ready” each leaped 16-1, in June and August, respectively. Ricardo Montaner’s “Para Que Seas Feliz” also soared 15-1 on the Oct. 3-dated chart.
