Mr. Worldwide reeled in longtime collaborators and new artists on his new album. See the best collabs below.
Pitbull’s highly awaited new album Pitcoin is here, featuring 24 new, club-ready bangers.
A wordplay of his artistic name and “Bitcoin,” the set further cements Mr. Worldwide’s (real name: Armando Christian Pérez) star power, backed by an array of global sounds from rap to merengue to country to electronic to funk to pop to guaracha to salsa music, and beyond.
On his 14th studio album, the Cuban-American hitmaker reels in longtime collaborations such as Enrique Iglesias on “Me Paraste el Corazón” and “Tamo Bien” and Lil Jon on multiple tracks including “Damn I Love Miami.”
The latter collaboration originally formed part of the 2020 Bad Boys for Life movie soundtrack, but following a viral line-dancing routine on social media, it was re-released as a single last September. The track reached No. 6 on Rhythmic Airplay, No. 20 on Pop Airplay and No. 13 on Hot Rap Songs, and it also entered the Hot 100.
“People forget, or act like they don’t remember what you’ve done for them. But he’s never changed with me. I just give him so much respect and love, to see it from the beginning and to see it now,” Lil Jon previously said to Billboard about his friendship with Mr. 305.
Like its genre melting pot, the bilingual Pitcoin album is packed with artists from all over the music scope: Bon Jovi, Akon, Jason Derulo, Zion, Lenier, Jowell & Randy, Gente de Zona, Ne-Yo, KISS, Anthony Ramos and many more.
